No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu – Fast, Fluid & MMA-Ready
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trained without the traditional gi (kimono). You wear a rashguard and shorts, which makes the game faster, more slippery, and highly athletic.
It focuses on the same core principles as gi BJJ — control, positioning, and submissions — but with a stronger emphasis on:
• Explosive takedowns and wrestling
• Leg locks and modern submissions
• Grip fighting without fabric (using underhooks, overhooks, and body control)
• Faster transitions and scrambling
Why Train No-Gi?
• More dynamic and movement-based than gi Jiu-Jitsu
• Excellent crossover for MMA and self-defense
• Builds superior cardio, agility, and explosive power
• Develops incredible grip strength and body awareness
• Highly practical for real-world situations where opponents aren’t wearing jackets
No-Gi is especially popular with athletes, fighters, and people who enjoy a more intense, wrestling-influenced style of grappling. Many students train both gi and no-gi to become more complete.
